Pelhřimov PULS

Trust starts with methodology.

What the results mean

An open poll reflects the views of visitors who vote, not automatically those of Pelhřimov residents. Even a large number of votes does not eliminate self-selection bias. We do not report an automatic sampling margin of error of ±3 %. Weighting is used only with documented reference data and a published methodology.

Identity and responses

Mini does not require an account and uses a secure cookie and bot protection. Research requires a verified account; participation checks are kept separate from responses. Anonymous responses have no permanent respondent ID. The panel is pseudonymised: a random panel identifier enables repeated measurements. Nicknames and optional profiles are not publicly accessible.

Small-group protection

We only publish results once there are at least 10 respondents. We also hide demographic breakdowns when a small group could be identified by subtraction or by combining data. We do not publish individual open-ended responses or exact addresses. We do not send free-text responses to AI for individual profiling.

Once per account is not once per person

Cookies can be deleted and a person can have multiple accounts. We enforce one submission per account or browser within a study through transactions. Technical safeguards monitor the frequency of attempts, not political preferences. A shared IP alone does not block an entire household.

Voluntary participation and rights

Participation is voluntary, and any demographic field may be left blank. You can export or delete your panel profile and panel responses in the Citizens’ Panel section. Truly anonymous responses cannot be linked to an individual once their identity has been separated. Individual responses are not used for advertising, marketing or political targeting. In this version, participation is limited to people aged 18+.

Quality of Life Index · draft methodology v1

Six equally weighted areas: housing, transport, safety, services, public space and overall satisfaction. Each uses a consistent 1–5 scale, with higher values being better. Conversion for each area: (average − 1) / 4 × 100. The index is the arithmetic mean of the six areas. Don’t know and missing responses are excluded; the index is not published unless all six areas are covered and group sizes meet privacy requirements. Only identically worded questions and samples collected in the same way can be compared. The first full-scale measurement requires this methodology to be approved and locked.

Before going live

The operator's identification, a contact for exercising rights, the legal basis, a specific retention period and approved processing information must be added. Sensitive political research and the involvement of minors require a separate legal assessment. This methodology page does not replace a legal review; the first data collection must not open without one.
